Is an expert in high-speed nanoindentation mapping, fracture mechanics of 3D-printed nano-ceramics, and machine learning for materials characterization. He is an Assistant Professor at Università degli Studi Roma Tre. Since 2022, he has served as Editor for Materials & Design and Co-Guest Editor for Virtual Special Issues on AI in Materials Science and Nanomechanical Testing.

He holds a professorship in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence at IU International University of Applied Sciences and serves as Apl. Professor at RWTH Aachen University’s Chair of Materials Physics & Physical Metallurgy. Is an expert in user modeling, personalized recommender systems, and deep learning for adaptive information retrieval. He is Full Professor at Università degli Studi Roma Tre, where he leads the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and coordinates national initiatives on AI and digital twin technologies. His research combines human-centered AI, machine learning, and intelligent interfaces, with applications ranging from e-learning and social media to aerospace and public engagement platforms.
